Fall 2010: Les Hommes

Well, well, well….I will say right now that I’m glad that I picked this line to cover. I just came across the pictures after anticipating all day and man am I’m totally feeling it. This Fall Tom Notte and Bart Vandebosch blew me away. Last Fall it was mainly solid blacks, greys, gold, and a few horizontal strips but this time they did things a lot different. Salt & Pepper tweed, knit arms on blazers, pin stripes, furs, and chic fitted outerwear. The line was simply stylish and reeked of sophistication in a bold manner. The shoes completed the runway looks and the metallic leggings only proved that they’re not just for les femmes. Some of the outwear gave off an urban feel but it worked well in the overall collection. I also enjoyed how the leather, crushed velvet, over sized suits popped up. It was very unpredictable. Les Hommes was an overall pleasing show, you could tell that their collection was well thought out and that they had just about every type of man that would wear their clothes in mind. Not one bit disappointed, as a matter of fact, I want more.
