Tricia Miranda dances for a cause at Carnival

I was so struck by the beauty and meaning of this choreography I was almost moved to tears. Tricia Miranda is an amazing choreographer, and can do some really hard hitting stuff but here she shows the power of dance. Donyelle Jones was the perfect person to play the mother because she has this quality to her dance wherein she is so expressive, you feel what she feels, you are in the moment, and it’s no longer just a show… It’s real.

Well without further ado, here is Tricia Miranda’s choreography to “This Woman’s Work” by Maxwell for Carnival.

A mess is picked over art? Come on ABDC!

So I arrive at the library for my first computer session here on campus and I realize, I can catch up on my ABDC! So I immediately go to YouTube and begin researching. Through a series of videos and other webpages I find that Artistry in Motion, the team with Donyelle Jones, an AMAZING dancer and SYTYCD participant, went home. I, of course rushed to see what they’d done wrong.

I was HORRIFIED! Beat Ya Feet Kings was CHILD’S PLAY compared to Artistry in Motion. It was so messy, and frankly the moves were outdated and done so lazily! I couldn’t believe that they let it fly. It really was an embarassment in my opinion!

BOTTOM LINE: AMERICA’S BEST DANCE CREW NEEDS TO BRING ARTISTRY IN MOTION BACK AND KICK BEAT YA FEET KINGS, ALONG WITH JAYCEE, SHANE SPARKS, AND LIL’ MAMA OUT!
