"The Color Issue" of Iconography Magazine

So I’ve been doing a bit more contributing elsewhere and one of the publications I contribute to is Iconography Magazine. For their 9th issue, they chose the theme of “The Color Issue” and in light of the movie “For Colored Girls” I penned an article about four male models entitled “Four Colored Boys.” Basically it consists of short clips on four important male models: David Agbodji at Re:Quest, Corey Baptiste at VNY, Jonathan Marquez at Click, and Zakaria Khiare of Ford Models.

FIXATE: Lyndsey Scott

So during the fashion weeks I keep track of faces. I love faces. But more than just faces I love a fierce runway face. So it was impossible for me not to see and remember Lyndsey Scott’s face. I mean I first saw her face during the Fall/Winter 2009 show season. She walked an exclusive for Calvin Klein. Why is that significant? She is the first minority model to do so ever in Calvin Klein’s history. More recently, her face stood out in the Prada Summer/Spring 2010 show because she was the only minority model in the line up. So I think it may be time for you guys to get a little more familiar with her.

Name: Lyndsey Scott

Lyndsey’s Runway work is EXTENSIVE, I tried to write down all of the shows down but at 24 shows strong, even with skipping some… I decided to stop. Luckily, New York Magazine as a slideshow of some of her runway moments. Also Bellazon has a good thread containing alot of her moments. I’m just going to list some of the ones I feel were more important.
